Am I the right person to apply?

Anyone based in Gauteng who feels driven to be an entrepreneur should apply.

If you know you want to run a small business but don't have an idea – that's great! We'll help you find one.

If you already have a business idea or are already running a small informal business, we'll help you formalise, grow and succeed.

All you need to do is pay a R100 application fee to receive R45 000 worth of training and commit 3-4 hours per week for 22 weeks to being trained and mentored.

If you are selected for #Awe250K, you will need to pay a subsidised fee of R500 for each of the two three-month blocks in our academy. Again, this is a commitment fee to ensure that scholarship winners treat this opportunity with the necessary respect.
